Termites

There are over 4,000 termite species around the world, and about 10% of them are a threat to humans.

Termites, similar to ants, live in large social colonies and feed on cellulose from leaves, wood, soil, and dung. Unlike other insects, termites are more fragile and prefer to live under ground and enter homes through exterior walls.
